We are the Friends of the Central Community Library

Who Are We?

A Non-profit For Our Community

After more than twenty years without significant support, the Friends of Central Community Library was established in 2016 to ensure quality resources and programs. With four board members and over forty general members, we work hard to ensure the library functions at its full potential and is a tremendous asset in our community.

Tom Gurney, current Friends president, is a Prince William County elementary school teacher with a heart for the people and businesses of Manassas.

What Do We Do?

We Support Our Local Library

There are many ways we support the Central Community Library in local Manassas. One of our greatest accomplishments to date is the sale of over $21K worth of books in the past thirteen months! These funds allow CCL to purchase equipment/supplies, and to sponsor educational programs that benefit the library’s patrons.
