Community Events

Join us in our events!

Who are the Friends? We’re the local non-profit driving force behind the Prince William County Central Community Library here in Manassas, VA. The funds we raise allow the top-notch programs the library is known for. We fund the petting zoo and buy the movies and popcorn for movie nights; we purchase the chairs you sit on and craft supplies for young and old. We put our hands to just about everything that goes on at the library, and we’re looking for friends like you! Check out our activities and opportunities below.

Book Sale Mar. 22-24

Great prices and great fun! Come out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and grab some of your favorite titles at the lowest prices around!

Hours are as follows:
Friday, Mar. 22:      10-4
Saturday, Mar. 23:  10-4
Sunday, Mar. 24:    10-4

Proceeds will fund upcoming library programs.

Christmas Holiday Pop-Up Sale!

Throughout the year, be on the lookout for our themed Pop-Up sales. These events are theme/season-oriented and are held in the library’s Book Sale room. Quality used books for sale at an excellent price. The books are in great condition and have been specially selected by our volunteers for you.

Community Meetings

We work better when we work together! Come and share your ideas for the library with us. Get your questions answered. Help us think outside the box! Let’s talk about how we can best serve our local community.

Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, from 6:30-7:30 pm.

It takes a village to raise a library! Manassas is a wonderfully diverse community, and the library is a great backdrop to display the unity in our diversity. When we each contribute what we have, we form a unique mosaic that can’t be reproduced anywhere else!
